ESPN reckons Sir Alex is considering making a beat-the-deadline move for Leighton Baines because he is still seeking left-back cover. The defender will line up against the Reds for Everton on Monday. It's claimed the boss made a hint about another signing at the press conference but it was to MUTV - he actually denied there would be any more arrivals in front of the media.
