Moura's Agent Interview On United.
"It's possible we change his contract," Baptista told UOL. "He has four more years of contract. We may call him to extend, renegotiate his contract, maybe for 18 more months".
Baptista also played down rumours that Moura's parents had travelled to England to hold talks with United insisting it was only to watch their son in the Olympics.
"His family went to England just to watch the Olympics, they had already told us they would," added Baptista.
"They want to follow their son, like any parents would in a competition like that. There is no negotiation, no talks, anything.
Moura has found himself playing a bit-part role for Brazil at the Olympics and Baptista feels the player should be playing more than he has so far in the tournament.
"Lucas is now focused and it's in our interest he shows his best football, even though he is not being given as much playing time as he should at the national team, but that's just my personal opinion," concluded Moura.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been after a new left back all summer after allowing Fabio Da Silva to join QPR on loan, leaving Patrice Evra as the only left-back in United's senior squad, so they were keen to add Baines to their line up.
However David Moyes does not want to sell Baines and is holding out for top money for the 27-year-old, regarded by many as England's first choice left-back in the long term.
Ferguson is now said to be watching the Ashley Cole situation at Stamford Bridge, Cole is entering the final year of his deal and as yet has not been offered a new one so the United boss may move to try and land him for a fraction of the price Baines would cost.

Moura Refuses To Rule Out United Move
Seeing Lucas Moura run out at Old Trafford may yet turn out to be a sign of things to come.
In Brazil's Olympic Games clash with Belarus yesterday, the Sao Paulo attacking midfielder was only given five minutes to shine by coach Mano Menezes, but will have surely soaked up the atmosphere at one of Britain's greatest stadiums.
When asked by ESPN Brasil after the game about a possible move to Premier League giants Manchester United, Moura remained coy (via Sambafoot.com).
"At the moment I'm a Sao Paulo player and I'm focused on the Olympics," he said.
"After the Olympics are over, I'll decide."
Lucas went on express his ambivalence to the situation, indicating that should he move or stay, he would be content.
"I don't want to worry about this. If I am meant to leave now, it will happen. Otherwise, I'll remain calm because I'm still very young."
Reading between the lines, the fact that he feels the need to reassure himself that, were a move not to take place, he would have to stay "calm," rather indicates that the player would prefer a move to Old Trafford this summer.
Despite the fact that the Brazilian phenom was in Manchester over the weekend, and logic dictates that his agent would have followed, there has been no reporting of any negotiation with United officials taking place over a possible transfer.
Although there have been mixed messages sent over whether or not a move could still take place, neither party has categorically ruled out the possibility of a deal still being made before the conclusion of the current transfer window.
Nevertheless, United fans can expect no easy conclusion to what has been one of the most drawn-out transfer sagas in recent memory.

Moura will Not Join United
There is the possibility of a late flurry of activity before
Wednesday. That’s when Lucas’s share of any transfer fee received by Sao
Paulo rises from 20 percent to 30 percent. His wages will rise too,
from £9000 a week to just under £10,000 a week, but that’s a fraction of
what he could earn at United.
Lucas Moura to Stay
There have been suggestions that Lucas may be prepared to remain at Sao Paulo this year before making a move to Real Madrid
next summer. The Spanish side have been linked with the youngster in
the past but are unable to find any room for him in their transfer
budget this summer.
BREAKING NEWS: RVP Want United Move
Arsenal striker Robin van Persie will want a £220,000 a week pay packet if he joins Manchester United.
The Sunday Express claims the Dutch striker is demanding parity with the club’s highest-paid player, Wayne Rooney ,should he move to the club. United are one of three clubs – along with Manchester City and Juventus – who have made bids to sign van Persie.
The paper claims that Old Trafford is van Persie’s favoured destination but United must agree to pay a transfer fee with Arsenal. The Gunners’ board are demanding £20million while manager Arsene Wenger values van Persie – who turns 29 next week – at £30million.
Van Persie has already turned down an offer of £130,000 to stay with Arsenal and has received one of around £190,000 a week from Serie A side Juventus. Reports have also claimed that he agreed a deal worth £220,000 a week with Manchester City as long ago as March, but City need to sell one of their front four before they can buy and are having difficulty shifting either Carlos Tevez or Edin Dzeko.

No RVP Move
Arsene Wenger insists Robin van Persie is no
closer to securing a move away from Arsenal, with Manchester United and
Manchester City yet to get back in touch.
Italian giants Juventus
That leaves Premier League heavyweights United and City slugging it out for a man who netted 37 times in all competitions last season.
An offer of around £20million is expected to force the Gunners' hand and see them part with a player who has just 12 months left to run on his current deal.
Wenger is, however, refusing to give up hope of persuading Van Persie

Several newspapers quoted Wenger as saying: "We have talked about Van Persie.
"I have talked about Van Persie and I'm not talking about that question any more."
The Dutchman has missed Arsenal's tour and is instead working on his fitness following Euro 2012.
Wenger added: "Van Persie is close to fitness. But we have not had any more contact from City or United about him."
City manager Roberto Mancini backed up Wenger's claim that no bids had been made.
"If he said this, I think it's true. Van Persie is one of the best strikers so it's difficult to buy him," said Mancini

United was Moura deal Quick
United's battle to snap up the 19-year-old in turning into something of a
saga with conflicting reports emerging about the player's interest in a
switch to Old Trafford.
Red Devils officials have been working around the clock to secure a deal for the Brazilian starlet for the last fortnight with Sir Alex Ferguson known to be desperate to sign the all action midfielder.
However, the Scot isn't prepared to match Sao Paulo's asking price with a fee in the region of £30m being mooted for the youngster who is rated as one of the biggest talents in South America.
An opening bid of around £20m has already been knocked back by his club, and Ferguson has now sent chief scout Jim Lawlor and club secretary Jon Alexander to Brazil to try and thrash out an agreement by the end of next week.
United's hopes of wrapping up a deal quickly haven't been helped by Lucas' refusal to hold talks about the move until after the Olympics are over, with his focus for now on trying to win a gold medal with his country.
Sao Paulo director Adalberto Baptista has muddled the waters further by insisting that the player, who has scored 26 goals in 104 appearances for since making his debut in 2010, is not interested in a switch to England.
His comments however, somewhat contradicts the remarks made yesterday by his own vice-president Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes, who claims talks were still ongoing.
Baptista said: "There are no negotiations going on. Everybody knows that we got an offer for him, and rejected it. It's also known that Lucas doesn't want to leave. The only person keeping the expectations alive is his agent.
"The decision is final. There will always be great teams going after great players.
"This mismatch between the European and Brazilian transfer window makes it hard for national clubs, and we have to deal with that."

Lucas To Wait Until After The Olympics
Manchester United target Lucas Moura says he will wait until after the Olympic Games before deciding his future.
The 19-year-old is currently in the UK with the rest of the Brazilian squad and was an unused substitute in last night’s 3-2 victory over Egypt in the side’s opening game in Cardiff.
Lucas has been the subject of two bids from Manchester United, the highest of which was one of 38million euro (just under £30million) which was rejected by his Brazilian club side Sao Paulo last week. However, he told Spanish news agency EFE last night that he was concentrating on the Olympic tournament.
“I am focusing on my team, Sao Paulo and in Brazil’s national team at the moment. I’ll decide my future after the Olympics,” he said.
“It’s already a victory to be here. Now I have to be ready for any situation if [Brazil coach] Mano Menezes believes I have to play.”
Reports from Brazil yesterday quoted Sao Paulo director Adelberto Baptista as saying “the end point has been reached” in the club’s dealings with United. Baptista added the fact that the transfer window was already closed in Brazil was part of the problem as Sao Paulo would be unable to recruit a replacement for Lucas if he was sold.
However, another problem is that from1 August Lucas is entitled to 30 percent of any transfer fee Sao Paulo receive. The figure prior to that date is 20 percent. Lucas’s agent, Wagner Ribeiro is still keen to do a deal before 1 August – “the only person who is lighting candles for everyone is the agent,” Baptista said – and Ribeiro claims he has been instructed by Lucas to continue negotiating with United.

Ferguson insists more signings on way at Man Utd.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says they're still keen to land new signings this summer.
Ferguson updated the transfer situation during a press conference in Shanghai.
"We've been trying all summer to add to our squad," he said. "We've got Kagawa and Powell and we're working on one or two other things. I have nothing to tell you in terms of confirmation as to whether any other players are joining us at this moment in time. But we are trying to add to our squad."

Manchester United Is Linked With Dembele
Manchester United are intensifying their pursuit of Fulham attacker Moussa Dembele.
The People says United believe they can land the Belgium star before the start of the season.
It is believed that Fulham are aware of Sir Alex Ferguson's desire to sign Dembele, who shone for Fulham last season after being moved from a second striker's role into the centre of midfield.
The Cottagers will demand at least £15million for the 25-year-old but United seem willing to make a substantial offer.

Baines United Deal
Manchester United have reportedly put a £12million limit on any bid for Everton full-back Leighton Baines.
The Red Devils have been linked with a bid for the 27-year-old England
international, whom Sir Alex Ferguson is said to regard as a successor
for the 31-year-old Patrice Evra.
However, Goal.com is reporting this morning that United will pay no more than £12million for a player who is valued by Everton at £17million.
Last week, Sir Alex said the left-back position was one the club were looking at because of Evra’s work-load of around 45-50 games a year over the past five years. Left-back Fabio da Silva, who has deputised for Evra on a number of occasions, recently joined QPR on a season-long loan.
Baines has been quiet on the possibility of a move away from Goodison, His last public comment on the issue came at the end of May when he said: “The United link is flattering. There is no harm in people talking about it because it is a great club, but I’m at a great club as well, a club that I love.”

Clear run for RVP
uventus are turning up the heat on Arsenal over Robin van Persie. The
Italian champions' general manager, Guiseppe Marotta, has made it clear
that van Persie is their number one priority - but also hinted they will
switch their attentions to Manchester City misfit Edin Dzeko unless
they get an answer quickly. Juventus, who have had a cheeky £8million
opening gambit inevitably turned down, have now told the Gunners they
will pay around £20m and are also offering van Persie £190,000-a-week
AFTER tax. The Dutch striker, who turns 29 next month and is entering
the final year of his contract, is keen on joining the Italian
champions, and Juventus are clearly trying to push Arsenal into a swift
decision with Marotta's mention of Dzeko as an alternative. Van Persie,
who has missed the club's Asia pre-season tour, is believed to also
prefer Manchester United to the remaining suitors, Manchester City.
Arsenal are determined to hold out for £20m, a stance which may
discourage United and leave Juve in pole position if they do come back
with a firm offer.

Ribeiro is keeping the door open regarding a move to Old Trafford after saying Moura is happy for talks with United to continue.
Ribeiro, though, also admitted that the highly-rated midfielder has no problem remaining with Sao Paulo, if the Brazilian club's demands are not met.

Rio: Title Madness
Rio Ferdinand says blowing the league title was ‘madness’ – and
Manchester United will never repeat it. United let slip an eight-point
lead with six games to go last term as Manchester City finished top of
the pile on goal difference. Centre-back Ferdinand, 33, said: “Fair play
to City. You’ve got to be a good team to win the league, so I wouldn’t
take anything away from them. But if you gave us the last few games of
the season and put us in that situation again, it wouldn’t happen – it
was just madness. That’s down to us, though. We take full blame for it
and don’t look to anyone else.” Now England star Ferdinand is hoping
United’s title blow, delivered in the last seconds of last season, will
make the club’s younger players desperate never to experience anything
like it again. City famously scored two injury-time goals against 10-man
QPR to pip their neighbours, who won 1-0 at Sunderland, to the trophy.
He added: “You think to yourself that the young players will learn from
last season. We would rather have won the league but it’s a valuable
experience that I’m sure they’ll learn from because that feeling in the
dressing-room after the Sunderland game isn’t one you want too many more
times in your career, if any.”
Boss happy with steady start
The Reds have scored twice across their opening two games, beating
AmaZulu 1-0 and drawing 1-1 with Ajax Cape Town, but the manager is
unperturbed as he continues to focus on next month's season-opening trip
to Everton.
"That [the lack of goals] is not the most important thing," Sir Alex told MUTV. "We want to keep our heads held high in terms of our performance level and making sure we get a result.
"But at the end of the day when we get to that last pre-season game in Hanover [on 11 August] we want to be confident the team is ready for the first game of the season."
Part of the Reds' preparations for the season proper have been the efforts to stave off jetlag, a move which has led the squad to remain just two hours ahead of British Summer Time, rather than adapting to the local timezone in Shanghai.
"I think it helps staying on European time," said Sir Alex. "Obviously we lose a little bit of daylight with the way we've operated but in terms of our recovery when we go back to England we felt it was the right thing to do.
"We assessed all that before we came. Hopefully we've done the right thing and when we go back we don't have to worry too much about jetlag."
United's next warm-up game comes against Shanghai Shenhua on Wednesday, and the boss and his players are steeled for another physical challenge against their Chinese hosts.

Drogba Would Have Tempted SAF...
Sir
Alex Ferguson has said he that he might well have been tempted to try
and sign Chelsea's Didier Drogba if the striker had wanted to stay in
England.
Drogba has gone down in Chelsea folklore and certainly come up with the goods for the Blues when needed including a dramatic goal in the Champions League final that Chelsea eventually won on penalties.
The striker left for China in search of a new challenge, but Fergie said he would have certainly been interested if he had not wanted to move abroad.
Speaking in a press conference in China Fergie said: "The decision was his anyway - and he said if he was going to leave Chelsea he wouldn't play for another club in England.
